Microsoft Xbox One Botched by Gamers Due To Faulty 'Dark Ops 3' Beta Codes, Quick Fix Released

Xbox One gamers who are excited to play 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's multiplayer beta for a turn on the Microsoft console game was disheartened to realize that the game won't accept their codes that should authorize them to play.

Treyarch Studios launched 'Black Ops 3's beta for the Xbox One on Wednesday, Aug. 26, taking after the exclusive beta release for the PlayStation 4, which was not its own troubles either.

Only a couple of hours after the beta was forwarded and after accepting numerous complaints, Treyarch declared on Twitter that a few customers are not able to recover the beta promo codes they got when they pre-ordered the game.

Microsoft has likewise declared on the Xbox status page that 'Black Ops 3' beta is having issues that gave some gamers problems going in.

The statement, however, didn't give an exact time period with regards to patching what causes the issues.

Microsoft's exact statements were, "We are aware that some of you may be experiencing issues redeeming your beta tokens for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," which is rather vague.

The statement went on to say, "We are working closely with our partner to get this resolved ASAP! Thank you for being patient while we work. We'll post another update when more information becomes available." which again did not specify a specific time period for the resolution.

Because of the unfortunate event, frustrated gamers and customers blasted Microsoft and Treyarch Studios for the mess.

On the other hand, apparently, the unredeemable codes are not by any means the only issue. A couple of gamers who were sufficiently fortunate to enter their beta promo codes claimed the game takes up to two hours just to download.

In any case, if you are hard set on getting your dosage of 'Call of Duty' immediately, there is a solution that numerous clients say that's working impeccably. The fix includes changing your area to Brazil.

A few customers claim that by doing so, the game keeps them from reverting the location back to the United States.

The ploy is to roll out the alterations on Xbox.com and allow the Xbox One's location unbothered.

To change your area on the Xbox site, go to Xbox.com and explore the gray bar at the base of the screen, where you can change your country to Brazil. You can then go to Xbox's Brazil site and redeem your 'Black Ops 3' codes. Subsequently, you can change your location back to U.S. to keep any issues from appearing later on.

The full version of 'Black Ops 3' will be formally released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Nov. 6.
