Disney Infinity Is Will Be Available Soon For Apple TV

When the Apple TV was launched on Wednesday, Apple's Eddy Cue named  tons of games for the newest device which includes Rayman Adventures, Disney Infinity, Guitar Hero, Shadowmatic, just to name a few. The TV is similar to the Nintendo Wii, where a motion sensor controller is used to play a game. The Apple TV also features a standalone app store wherein iOS games can be directly downloaded to the TV.

That being said, Apple announced that Disney's Infinity will be made available at the Apple TV's app store and will now be ready for download. Disney Infinity is an action-adventure single and multiplayer game that feature Disney characters Jack Sparrow, Mr. Incredible, and James P. Sullivan or Sulley from the movie Monsters Inc. and Monsters University. It was first released in 2013 for the gaming consoles and PC platforms and was later on made available for iOS.

Apple TV was first projected to be a strong contender for the PlayStation and Xbox due its new capability to play games in the TV, straight off the box. With that news, Microsoft was the first, and probably only, to react on the threat and released a plan for their Xbox One in order to keep the Apple TV at bay, with regards to its goal of snatching the crown from the PlayStation and Xbox.

Nintendo was heavily disregarded but was later on dragged into the scene when Apple finally showcased the Apple TV with Harmonix's Rock Band. During the demonstration, the Apple TV's remote was swung back and forth, similar to the Wii controller, which prompted the experts to say that Apple TV's closest rival would be the Nintendo and is nowhere near the frontrunners PlayStation and Xbox.

At this point, Sony doesn't really feel threatened about the Apple TV and has remained as the most sought-after game console as it ran over Xbox and Nintendo in terms of sales yet again. In addition, Nintendo has yet to comment on the new Apple TV.
