Nintendo Offers Mario Maker, Allows Players To Design The Iconic Game

In commemoration of Mario's 30th year anniversary, Nintendo is now inviting players to create their own levels in the user generated Wii U title Super Mario Maker, which will be out on Friday. During an interview with Super Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto about the latest Nintendo offering, he said that the game is truly fitting after it was released three decades ago.

The Mario Maker will serve as a tough construction expansion which allows the players to virtually use and abuse the game through place items such as the immortal bash ablebricks, floating coins, and even the deadly Koopas inspired by the style of the previous Mario games like the Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, and the New Super Mario Bros. The levels will then be uploaded and can be played online.

Miyamoto also pointed out that Nintendo has been fortunate that at each period of new innovation, they've possessed the capacity to present another Mario game without needing to introduce a new storyline.

He also said that the designers concentrated on making the game that would make a whole new Mario experience. I.E., if players wish to share creations on the web, they should first have the capacity to play through their level themselves, regardless of what number of Bowsers or Bullet Bills they need to face.

The Super Mario Bros. was arguably responsible for Nintendo's success in the gaming industry. It was first introduced in 1985 for the Family Computer console as a single player and multiplayer mode. When it was released, the game captured the gaming industry and has catapulted the game into the legendary status.

Because of the game's success, it has stemmed out into different mediums such as movies, merchandise, TV shows, toys, etc. In addition, it is also anticipated for the Super Mario installment to be introduced in the upcoming Nintendo NX.
