Several avid gamers have been waiting for the release of the "No Man's Sky" game. Now, new reports are claiming that the Hello Games, "No Man's Sky" developer, is currently considering a multiplayer mode for the game.
Hello Games might introduce multiplayer mode for 'No Man's Sky'
Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games, divulged in an interview that he is open to introduce new ways to make it easier for gamers to play with each other. Avid fans of the game have been very vocal about wanting to play with other "No Man's Sky" gamers.
Aside from the fact that it is an online game, "No Man's Sky" players also share the same universe. However, gamers cannot organize a meet-up or even directly communicate and discuss with each other because of the total number of star and planet systems.
In other words, the vastness of the "No Man's Sky" universe make it very unlikely for the players to meet each other. However, with Sean Murray's open-mindedness, it is possible for "No Man's Sky" players to bump into each other while playing the game.
'No Man's Sky' game's multiplayer mode is possible
Adding excitement to the rumors is one previous interview of Sean Murray wherein he expressed his admiration for Journey, which is a minute PlayStation-exclusive title. The Hello Games founder seemed to have been captured by the game that he wanted to consider applying its multiplayer mode to the "No Man's Sky" game.
"We haven't really talked about multiplayer, but I want kind of a Journey-esque feel to it," Sean Murray said at the time. "You get a sense that you're playing with other people, and you can see the actions of other people."
Though Hello Games did not release any official statement about this as if yet, several fans are positive that this will push through. Keep your fingers crossed!
