50 Cent Apologizes After Mocking Autistic Airport Janitor; Teen's Family To Sue The Rapper?

50 Cent is in hot water yet again after he posted a since-deleted video on social media mocking an autistic airport janitor. After realizing the gravity of his actions, the rapper finally breaks his silence and apologized for his poor behavior.

“While the incident at the airport resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding, I am truly sorry for offending the young man,” the 40-year-old told Page Six . He further explained that it wasn't his intention to make fun of the teen's condition, he then noted that he already reached out and personally apologized to the young man and his family.

50 Cent angered the Internet after he made fun of a 19-year-old autistic man working at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, later identified as Andrew Farrel. Although the rapper quickly deleted the clip on his social media accounts, both fans and critics have already viewed the video of him accusing Farrel of being high at work.

The "In Da Club" rapper can be clearly heard saying that the young janitor's pupils were "dilated," to back up his claim of Farrel being high on drugs while working. It turns out that the hardworking teen was actually suffering from slight autism, social anxiety and hearing impairment.

In an interview conducted by Cincinatti Enquirer, Farrell's mom and stepdad shared their frustrations about the incident. They shared that they were both shocked and upset about how the famous rapper degraded their son saying, "Why would you attack my kid like that?" Farrell's mother, Amanda Kramer, asked. "It doesn't say much about his character when he has to attack a kid he doesn't even know."

Although TMZ reported that the family has lawyered up and were considering a $1 million settlement for bullying, Page Six noted that the family's attorney sent an email saying that all they wanted is a "sincere apology" from 50 Cent.
