WWE 2016 Rumors: John Cena WWE Return Made Official [VIDEO]

WWE 2016 Rumors: John Cena WWE Return Made Official [VIDEO]

WWE star John Cena is expected to return to action and give the WWE its much needed boost by the end of the month in a “Memorial Day” special on WWE Raw. The “Cenation Leader” will reinforce the team of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose as they lock horns with ‘The Club’ featuring AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

While Cena’s return is big news, the advertisement has led many to believe that it may not be aired on TV, sending feelers that this could be a dark match. All that seems a bit odd considering the WWE announced his official return as you will see in the video segment below.

Some light on that match involving Cena could be shed by the weekend at WWE Extreme Rules. There are varying rumors tied up to the main event pitting Reigns and Styles who will be at the main even for the WWE heavyweight championship.

The word out is that the Reigns-Styles rivalry will come to a close this weekend which could justify the May 30 booking being a dark match. Another rumor claims that Anderson and Gallows would turn on Styles at the WWE pay-per-view which renders the “Memorial Day” matchup involving Cena senseless as well.

There is a chance that the event will offer neither scenario and instead see the intrusion of Ambrose. Though the “Lunatic Fringe” will be facing Chris Jericho in an “Asylum” match earlier in the night, everyone is aware that he is one of the closest friends Reigns has aside from his cousins, “The Usos”.

Whatever happens, the focus is on Cena’s return which could aid the WWE in its misfortunes. With the ratings far from comforting, Cena is a proven star that could help jack them up with more help on the way with Seth Rollins and Randy Orton expected to re-emerge soon.
