'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' News & Update: Blood And Wine Trailer Reveals A Beautiful City With A Monster Problem [Watch]

A new trailer was for “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine” was recently released by CD Projekt Red. The video, called “New Region,” features the all-new setting of the expansion.

Toussaint is the name of the new setting of “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine.” Based on the video, which lasts two and a half minutes, it appears beautiful and peaceful but is also plagued by monsters that only the White Wolf can help get rid of.

The first half of “The Witcher 3” trailer featured the various features of the lovely place. There are vineyards, gardens, fields, windmills, architectural wonders, busy markets and brothels that remained untouched by the ravages of war. The people seemed to be merry and content with their livelihood. However, the arrival of the White Wolf meant that similar to other less beautiful locations, Toussaint also has monster issues of its own.

The second half of “The Witcher 3” video featured the various monsters that terrorized the town. There were scenes in “The Witcher 3” of a demon-like creature and a vampire-like being. The White Wolf is expected to deal with these monsters and tap a number of resources and allies in the “Witcher 3 – Blood and Wine” expansion.

“The Witcher 3” blurb stated that players will take on the role of professional monster slayer, Geralt of Rivia, who will explore the kingdom as well as discover the horrific secret behind a beast that terrorizes its residents.

GameSpot reported that “The Witcher 3 – Blood and Wine” showcases over 90 new quests and 40 points of interest for gamers. Overall, the game content should provide about 30 hours of gameplay.

The full game, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” launched on May 19, 2015. It is the third instalment in the fantasy RPG series, combing a non-linear story and open world. Players can drive the plot based on key choices, engage in tactical combat and explore the environment. The third iteration features an enhanced approach to the narrative to cater both new and old players well. “The Witcher 3” combat approach has also been improved, together with the in-game economy system. “The Witcher 3” has a Mature rating.

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine” expansion pack will release on May 31, 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is the second paid expansion of the game. The first expansion, “Hearts of Stone,” launched in October 2015. More updates and details on “The Witcher 3” are expected soon.
