Ymir playing an integral part in "Attack on Titan" Season 2
"Attack on Titan" creator Hajime Isayama reportedly said that Ymir and other Titan Shifters will be given more focus and screen time on "Attack on Titan" Season 2. According to reports, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will specifically focus more on Ymir who is believed to have the knowledge that will lead to the "ultimate conclusion" in regards to the existence of the Titans.
It is not quite known yet if the secret that Ymir is keeping would be grave enough to lead an end to the "Attack on Titan" series. However, fans find out soon once the release date of the "Attack on Titan" Season 2 nears. As for season one, Ymir was rarely seen unlike the manga but, on "Attack on Titan" Season 2, creators have promised to feature her more.

Aside from Ymir, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 is said to also feature or reveal the origin of Titans as based on the leaked video a couple of weeks back. The leaked video shows that Pastor Nick seem to have a hidden knowledge regarding the existence of the Titans.
