‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ Latest News & Updates: New Gameplay Details Plus Even More New Pokemons Announced! [VIDEO]

With "Pokemon Sun and Moon" releasing this Nov. 18, 2016, a lot of new features can still be added to the game. However, as of right now, here are the details announced by Nintendo at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 last June 14.

'Pokemon Sun and Moon' game to introduce 'Battle Royal'

A new mode that is introduced in the game is the "Battle Royal," it's a multiplayer mode where four players can duel with one another at the same time. A mode where alliances can be made as well as "each man for himself" element for the game.

The "Battle Royal" is played by the four participants taking turns with their attacks and they can target any of the other three opponents once it's their turn to strike. However, taking turns for attacks might result in long standby or idle time for other players while waiting for the attacker to make his or her move. Well, the game developers still have ample to resolve this so we can expect answers from Nintendo soon regarding this concern.

New Pokemons to expect in 'Pokemon Sun and Moon'

At the "Nintendo Treehouse" event, another new information about the Alola region are the new Pokemon that will make their debut for "Pokemon Sun and Moon." There will be three different types of Pokemons that was announced in E3 2016: first is a flying type Pokemon named Pikipek; second is the Yungoos; and lastly the Grubbin, a bug type Pokemon.

The most intriguing Pokemon of the three is the Yungoos, which set the internet on fire with jokes of how the Pokemon resembled Donald Trump. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be released in both Nintendo 2DS and 3DS this coming Nov. 18, 2016, just in time for the 20th anniversary of the storied Pokemon franchise.
