Script drafts done, early 'Criminal Minds' Season 12 debut?

“Criminal Minds” is expected to be out by Fall but there is a chance it could come out earlier. This is if the early writing of the "Criminal Minds" Season 12 show scripts have already been accomplished.

Back in May, executive producer Erica Messer mentioned that they were already starting on script for “Criminal Minds” Season 12 and part of that included “Mr. Scratch”.

“We do know that we want Mr. Scratch to be part of Season 12 in some capacity, or at least the idea of Mr. Scratch being out there. Everything else will be the fun of getting the writers together and to say, "If we could bring back anyone in the last 11 years, who would you want it to be?" said Messer via TV Guide of "Criminal Minds" Season 12.

For those who may be unaware, “Peter Lewis” aka “Mr. Scratch” is played by Bodhi Elfman and had already appeared on the show as a hacker, serial killer and stalker back in season 10. He was last spotted in season 11 bolting prison along with 12 other criminals. It remains to be seen if he will appear on "Criminal Minds" Season 12.

All Eyes On Former CSI Miami star

As for Adam Rodriguez who was inserted to the lineup recently per reports by Entertainment Weekly, his role will be in focus. Though he has proven his worth with “CSI: Miami” before, there may be two things to watch out for – if he can fit in nicely with BAU and on whether he will be the one to actually capture “Mr. Scratch."
