E3 2016 is normally where we would come in to take a look at every inch of the new "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer and Treehouse demonstration.

But the the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Treehouse already did that for us, pointing out the new touched in the user interface, how the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" game will play, and several other changes to the Pokemon formula. That doesn't mean they showed everything though.

The new trailer for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" gives us our first look at three new Pokemon, each fulfilling a common role from early in the game.

New Pokemon

We've already talked about Pikapek, Yungoos, and Grubbin (read here) but the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer also provides the first proper introduction to Magearna.

As revealed before,"Pokemon Sun and Moon" Magearna is a dual Steel and Fairy type with the ability, Soul-Heart.

Thanks to a small demonstration by the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer, we can see what Soul-Heart does. Each time another Pokemon in the area faints, its Special Attack will be raised by one.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer also showed off the new Battle Royal multiplayer mode. And while the Treehouse demonstration showed off exactly what the mode was like, there are a few hidden details on it too.

As the Treehouse stated, we finally have confirmation that different clothes with be available in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" Battle Royal mode may have also shown us the official name of the main characters. It's either Sun and Moon, which isn't too surprising, or the more traditional names of Elio and Selene.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is striking a balance between the mysterious and the familiar.

While there are a lot of elements that we can't fully grasp yet, it's obvious that the developers attempting to make "Pokemon Sun and Moon" more inviting by clearly showing all the battle information that players need to know.
