Pokemon' Latest News & Update: Wii U Users To Enjoy Three Mysterious Dungeons Soon!

"Pokémon" fans are in for a treat this Thursday as Nintendo rolls out three new mystery games to the Wii U Virtual Console featuring the cute pocket monsters.

In an official update posted on their website, Nintendo revealed three PokémonTM Mystery Dungeon games to let players revisit some of the most loved games from the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS collections. Among the upcoming releases is the popular Game Boy Pokémon game "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team" as well as the "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky" and "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team" from the Nintendo DS collection.

According to Nintendo, the Red and Blue Rescue Team Mystery Dungeon game are both re-imagined worlds were players get to experience becoming a Pokémon. In these Dungeon games, players are set to embark on a journey with their Pokémon to help rescue people and Pokémon all over the disaster-stricken virtual world.

But while the title itself promises rescue missions to come, Nintendo teased a greater purpose of the Pokémon quest which the player can find out for himself when the games are rolled out on Thursday. Meanwhile, the "Explorers of Sky" Dungeon game also promises players the mystifying experience of becoming a Pokémon and teaming up with another character in what Nintendo described as "an adventure of exploration and discovery."

This Dungeon game is said to provide players with a chance to uncover more secrets of the mysterious Pokémon world and serve as a great starting point for those who are just starting to embark on their Pokémon journey. A report from Polygon noted that Nintendo did not announce any price range yet for the incoming spinoff series but the game developer did promise more Virtual Console titles to come in the remaining days of summer which are also cloaked with mystery as to which platform will have more Pokémon games later.
