Rumor - Details Released for Skyrim's Next DLC, Hearthfire?

Rumors are starting to circle concerning the next DLC for Bethesda's Skyrim, supposedly titled "Hearthfire." Now, it sounds very odd, especially for a game that focuses on slaying dragons and collecting their souls, but it seems as though part of the focus of Hearthfire will be on allowing players to buy land and build their very own homes.

Home customization is nothing new to Bethesda's open world games like Skyrim or Fallout, players where allowed to decorate their homes in any manner they saw fit. But building homes is a relatively new concept.

A supposed "official description" was posted on Reddit (where else?), which reads "Hearthfire, the next official game-add on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has arrived. For the first time in the Elder Scrolls universe, purchase land and build your own home from the ground up - from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with armory, alchemy laboratory, trophy room, and more! With Hearthfire, the possibilities of what you can build are endless."

In keeping with the lips shut routine, Bethesda has neither confirmed nor denied the authenticity of the rumors.

And unfortuantely, depsite a new patch being available for PS3 versions of Skyrim, still nothing on when PS3 owners can get their hands on Dawnguard.

Already available on Xbox 360 and PC, Dawnguard offers about 10 to 20 hours of additional gameplay with: two new factions to join, new areas of Oblivion to visit, new weapons, new shouts, new armor, new characters, and new skill trees for werewolves and vampires.

* Brand new storyline
* Over 60 new characters
* 23 new locations
* New creatures including the frost giant, chaurus hunter, and legendary dragon
* New dragon shouts, spells, and blessings
* New perk trees for werewolves and vampires
* New weapons, including dragonbone types
* New alchemy ingredients, new books, and pieces of jewlery
