Macbook Air 2016 Release Date, News & Update: Is Macbook Air 2016 Canceled For Good?

Is Apple Considering the Cancelation of Macbook Air 2016?

The surge of the Macbook came at a time when Apple started dominating the world of laptops, but now, it looks like the long awaited Macbook Air 2016 is facing a bleak future.

According to reports, Apple may have simply wanted to promote the iPad Pro that they are considering suspending the production of Macbook Air 2016. Other reports say that, the possibility of just releasing a Macbook instead of labeling it as Macbook Air will be the giant tech company's next move.

Meanwhile, Apple's CEO Tim Cook revealed during an interview on The Telegraph that the iPad Pro has been designed to replace the the desktop as well as the Notebook. Despite the current fate of the Macbook Air, other news reveal that it just might be that Apple will release an entry level version of the Macbook Air 2016, while simultaneously promoting the iPad Pro that's supposed to replace the unit.

Should Apple pushes with the Macbook Air 2016 device, rumors suggest that its basic specifications will include a lightning port as opposed to the conventional 3.5mm headphone jack, an OLED touch display bar and a 5K display with the AMD Radeon RX 400 series video cards.

Of course, none of the rumored ditching of the Macbook Air 2016 has been confirmed by Apple and news online still thinks that, if ever the device will launch, hopes is that it will join the iPhone 7 when it becomes available this September. Meantime, you may also look through what Tim Cook has been promoting; the iPad Pro, said to eventually replace the desktops and the Notebooks.
