‘Resident Evil 4’ Latest News, Rumors and Release Date: Re-Launch Happening On August 30? Other Game Details Revealed
Gamers who are still hooked on to “Resident Evil 4” will be glad to note that the game is slated for re-release next month.
This was announced by Capcom via its official blog, stating that “Resident Evil 4” versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One should be out on August 30. Included in the package are bonus content from the original game and more.
The re-release of Resident Evil 4 will also include the “Mercenaries” mode and a bunch of features added to the latest versions of the game.
Originally released back in 2005, Resident Evil 4 is considered one of the greatest video games ever to come out. It gave players the power to tackle on game enemies known as ‘Ganados’ using upgradeable weapons such as pistols, rifles and shotguns.
The impending release appends the list of Resident Evil game franchises which are already out in the open. That includes Resident Evil 5 and 6 for both the PS4 and Xbox One, both priced at $20. It is likely that Resident Evil 4 will retail for the same amount.
Game performance concerns
While the coming of Resident Evil 4 is welcome news, gamers who had the chance to play Resident Evil 5 may have a serious concern. This is tied up to multiple issues experienced for the game such as frame rate drops according to Game Spot.
Bugs and game performance issues are thus something many will be looking out for and hopefully the preceding game version will offer less issues to worry about.
“Resident Evil 7” coming in January, 2017
While those games are already familiar to most, a newer version could be out in the open by January, 2017. This has to do with “Resident Evil 7” set to come out by that time with game versions for both the PC, PS4 and the Xbox One.
The catch is that gamers needs to be a subscriber on PlayStation Plus to get hold of the next installment as mentioned in a separate report by Game Spot.
