"Clash of Clans" trended when it debuted in 2012. The game was only available for Android and iOS platforms but it is one of the most successful online games nonetheless.
Recently, its publisher, Supercell, started to gather ideas which they can apply to upgrade the game. For this, they solicited suggestions from avid fans since they know better what else is needed to achieve a more satisfying gameplay. A thread for the suggestions was created in "Clash of Clans" forum and players actively participated in the discussions.
Some of the ideas contributed by players include the addition of armies and a ‘rest' option for the Clan Castle troops. After examining the suggestions, Supercell finally released the anticipated "Clash of Clans" update.
The free patch offers balancing improvements, new features, challenges and contents like the Clone Spell and a Baby Dragon. However, many gamers regretted the update a bit because it came in with bugs and other issues too.
One of the complaints was the deluge of notifications after updating "Clash of Clans." It was reported that Apple mobile users are the most affected by this problem.
Supercell would like to avoid the same mistake so they asked the fans again about what they can do to improve the game and get rid of the bugs in the process. Right now, new patches are expected to arrive to create a more enjoyable gaming experience for "Clash of Clans" players.
Meanwhile, Supercell's "Clash Royale" game was distributed in China earlier this month, through Tencent Holdings Ltd. The partnership of the said companies is expected to bring Supercell's top-grossing mobile video games including the "Clash of Clans." Once this happens, the much-loved game is expected to reach millions of Chinese gamers who use Tencent's social networks on regular basis.
