'Tekken 7: Fated Retribution' News and Update: Bandai Namco Unveiled New Characters; Bob Is Back But Who Is Master Raven? [VIDEO]

"Tekken" is one of the favorites when it comes to fighting games. It is also a big hit in the arcades and even if it has already been 22 years since it was first launched by Bandai Namco Entertainment, it remained on top list of the most played games. It also produced many sequels and updates so players never find it tiring or outdated to play.

"Tekken" is now on seventh installment and it was titled "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." With the upcoming release of this sequel, creator and director of Bandai Namco Katsuhiro Harada, revealed that while they are bringing back many characters, new ones are also coming to excite the gamers even more.

At the Evo 2016, Harada officially announced two characters for the upcoming fighting game. Bandai Namco also uploaded trailers to tease and give gamers a glimpse of the the character selections included in the latest "Tekken 7."

The new fighters that was revealed are Bob and Master Raven. The former is a returning character for he has been part of "Tekken 6." Bob still has his karate expertise but his attire changed from pants, shirt and suspenders to ripped jeans and Hawaiian shirt.

On the other hand, Master Raven is a newcomer and "Tekken 7" can be considered as her debut stage. However, some observers said that there is also a chance that this new fighter is related to Tekken 5's Raven. The truth about this will be known when the full game finally comes to the market.

Other characters that can be expected to appear in "Tekken 7: Fate Retribution" are:
1.Kazuma
2.Heihachi
3.King
4.Nina Willaims
5.Paul Phoenix
6.Asuka Kazama

Gamers who did not find their favorite characters in the list should not worry because the names are not complete yet. More are going to be revealed in the coming days for the "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution."

Moreover, players who have been keeping tabs on the development of the new game sequel have expressed curiosity over the changed costume of Nina Williams. In his interview with Anime News Network, Katsuhiro Harada explained the reason behind Nina's new bridal outfit.

"We wanted people to see her and have their interest piqued as to why she's dressed like that, and what kind of story elements might cause that to happen," Harada said. "The wedding dress will give the characters a tie-in to the background story and add a few elements that might get people excited."

"Tekken 7" is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC in the first quarter of 2017. Stay tuned for updates on the exact date of the game's release.
