As "Outlander" Season 3 is now in the works, stars of the American-British television series are now preparing to play their roles perfectly. In fact, Sam Heughan reveals that he is eyeing to make his character as Jamie Fraser fat.
A Fatter Jamie?
It looks like Sam Heughan is going to make fun of his role in "Outlander" Season 3 as he is set to portray an older version of himself, as per International Business Times.
But, Sam Heughan quickly revoked the idea of making himself fat thinking that his fans might not like to see him heavier.
Fans To See An Older Jamie
Fans who have already read Diana Gabaldon's "Voyager," where "Outlander" Season 3 will be based might now have an idea that they will see an elderly Jamie.
To recall, "Outlander" enthusiasts saw an older Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in Season 2. It also ended when she decided to go to magical stones at Craigh Na Dun to see Jamie after she learned that he survived the Battle of Culloden.
So, fans will surely see a glimpse from the past in "Outlander" Season 3 to show the real account of the Battle of the Culloden, where Jamie is still a young guy.
Sam Heughan Teases A 'Completely Different Show'
Meanwhile, in an interview with Vulture, Sam Heughan revealed some snippet in the upcoming "Outlander" Season 3.
"Outlander" Season 3 will be more about his role as Jamie's life without Claire. Hence, fans will see less of his looks and more of his emotional state.
Sam Heughan also teased that "Outlander" Season 3 will be a "completely different show" compared to its previous seasons.
"Next year's stuff is probably the most interesting, in a way. We've been setting it up, setting the stage, introducing these characters, and now it goes into new, different worlds," Sam Heughan explained about "Outlander" Season 3.
Starz has yet to announce the official air date of "Outlander" Season 3.
