‘Pokemon GO’ Cheats, Tips & Tricks: Looking For A Gastly, Haunter And Gengar? Here’s How You Can Spot These Pokemon!

Gastly, Haunter and Gengar are all ghost type Pokemons. Now in contradiction to the popular belief that these Pokemons are spawned in or near cemeteries in "Pokemon GO," that is not exactly the case.

Does cemeteries translate to ghost type Pokemons in "Pokemon GO?" It has been a popular belief now in a while that in order to catch these rare Pokemons in "Pokemon GO," you need to go to creepy places based on the fact that they are ghost type.

"Pokemon GO" creators were quick to dismiss that as a myth. Reports are claiming that Niantic Labs would not spawn ghost type Pokemons in cemeteries for "Pokemon GO" as this could show mockery to the resting place of the dead. Forward this Youtube video straight away at 03:41 to learn more why the creators of "Pokemon GO" did this.

So you might be wondering what is the best way to find these ghost Pokemons in "Pokemon GO?" Don't worry, here are the different ways you can add a Gastly, Haunter and Gengar to your Pokedex.

First, the easiest Pokemon to capture of all the three of them in "Pokemon GO" is Gastly, which is the first evolution for Haunter and Gengar. You will need 25 Gastly candies to have it evolve into a Haunter and another set of candies to reach Gengar.

To have it evolve into a Gengar though, you will need 100 candies, so that's 125 candies all in all. Capturing a Haunter or a Gengar in "Pokemon GO" is really rare. Lures according to a lot of players does not seem to attract any of these second and third evolution type of ghost Pokemons.

As reported by Attack of The Fanboy, these Pokemons are said to be more visible or have a bigger chance of spawning in an area with high game activity. Which also means that an area with high activity in "Pokemon GO" consists of several PokeStops close to one another or a high number of "Pokemon GO" players in one location.

If all else fails, you can also hatch a Gastly through a 5km egg but as we all know it's not an assurance. Here is also a list of all the Pokemons you can hatch from 2km, 5km and 10km eggs in "Pokemon GO."
