'Pokemon Go' Latest News & Update: Chinese Game Maker Releases Bootleg 'Pokemon Go' App On The Play Store

While the latest updates for "Pokemon Go" have made hunting Pokemon easier, catching them still is not a walk in the park. One could find himself wasting tons of Pokeballs without ending up with a rare Pokemon at the end of the day.

The game apparently requires one to hone Pokeball flicking skills so as not to waste them. While Niantic has been requested numerous times to provide a training mode for catching Pokemon, there is something that can be done while waiting for that.

A Chinese developer called Rejected Games: FPS and Sport Simulation Adventure heeded the temporary solution to this common "Pokemon Go" player's problem. As featured in a post by The Next Web, the app called "Pokeball Coach for Pokemon Go" has been designed to help a player practice flicking fingers, while the character design gives out nightmares.

Since copying the official design might give it legal runs with Niantic, the game instead features monsters that have evolved in a not so nice manner. The app debuted last July, but has now been updated to use cute animals and different kinds of balls, obviously to keep it away from copyright issues.

While that may work for some, the headaches that the character design might give one could be avoided by fairly practicing how to throw Pokeballs. A post in CNet gives out how to properly throw Pokeballs without having to resort to some Chinese rip off game.

Here, it is advised that one should capture the shrinking circle. Once a finger is placed on the Pokeball, the circle will start shrinking. If Pokemon are targeted within that circle, bonus points will be received as the circle shrinks. Also, it is advised to throw the balls from the top. This method has caught some attention in Reddit. Also, one should pay attention to the Pokemon's shadow to measure the distance and avoid wasting Pokeballs on evasive Pokemon.

Lastly, it is advised not to use the thumb in flicking Pokeballs. In doing so, the index finger is more proper as it can be controlled easier. More tips and tricks as to how to properly throw that Pokeball to capture more Pokemon and gain more experience are shown in this video.
