It should be recalled that Lucious married Anika (Grace Gealey) despite having feelings for Cookie. Cookie will have to decide if she really wants Lucious out of her life.

All key art for "Empire" season 3 showed both Cookie and Lucious side by side and very much together. One photo even showed both characters as royalties, who are about to reign. A second image even showed "their reign, their rules" scrawled across the poster.

Meanwhile, Mariah Carey is on board for "Empire" season 3. She will portray Kitty, who is said to join forces with Jamal Lyon in an explosive new song, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. This was announced on Monday by executive producer Lee Daniels in a press release.
Now fans are speculating if Kitty will become Lucious' new love interest in "Empire" season 3. The music mogul is known to get anything that he wants. However, fans aren't sure if Kitty will like him back.
"Empire" season 3 spoilers reveal more guest stars to appear next season. It's been speculated that legend Biz Markie will also appear next season. Henson hinted as much on her Instagram post. Most importantly, though, fans will get to see how Cookie and Lucious started their love story.
