'Pokemon GO' Latest News, Release Date & Update: 'Pokémon Sun and Moon' Producer Receives Online Complaints, Disables Comments Section in Blog

It's all fun and games until your creation becomes the biggest thing to take over mobile gaming since people began using their phones to play. That's what happened when Junichi Masuda, who hails from Tokyo and is the co-fonder of Game Freak (Niantic's collaborator for "Pokemon GO"), received complaints from "Pokemon GO" players online via his official blog.

Kotaku reports that while Masuda did collaborate with Niantic for "Pokemon GO," he is in no position to help those who have complaints about the game, and are using his official blog to air their concerns. This has led him to temporarily disable the comments section of his blog and encouraged "Pokemon GO" fans to head over to Niantic's page to write down their comments instead.

Masuda also provided a link for the "Pokemon GO" help site, support site, safety guidelines," and FAQ. The producer is currently working on "Pokemon Sun and Moon," a pair of upcoming role-playing video games in the Pokémon series that are set to arrive this November 18 on the Nintendo 3DS handheld game console.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" are set in a series of tropical islands in te Alola region, much like Hawaii. In fact, game director Shigeru Ohmori shared during this year's E3 that he along with the rest of the game development team visited Hawaii to get inspiration and conduct research for the game.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" are the first two installments in the seventh generation of Pokemon RPG's, and is anticipated to arrive on the Nintendo 3DS console this November 18, in celebration of Pokemon's 20th anniversary.

Meanwhile, "Pokemon GO" continues its surge to worldwide popularity, which is probably one of the reasons why Niantic is continuing to tighten the reins on the game. They recently updated to game to cut access to third-party apps that enable players to get a leg up in the game, and have also announced that they will ban players who have been caught using such third party apps and other cheats.
