‘The Sims 4’ City Life Expansion Pack Release Date, News & Update: Players Prepare For New DLC! EA Has Not Decided Yet?
"The Sims 4" City Life expansion pack, known in Brazil as "Vida Na Cidade," has been making headlines as it leaked in the country's game rating website. Although Electronic Arts has still to confirm the news, the source is said to be the Brazilian Ministry of Justice which also functions as the regulatory for video games in the country. That said, it could be pretty reliable.
As its name suggests, "The Sims 4" City Life expansion pack, is about life in the city. "Vida Na Cidade" is a Brazilian language for "Life in the City," "City Life" or "Living in the City." The downloadable content may well change its title when it reaches the western territories.
The complexity of the game "The Sims 4" City Life is only for 12 years old and above. There are no news yet as to when it will be launched, other features and inclusions. Images of the leaked game, however, showed skyscrapers, spa in the rooftop and a character sporting a "city-themed' tank.
On the other hand, "The Sims" forum mentioned that "Metropolis" DLC might be launched. Players could transfer residency into urban locations, where they could live and rent on townhouses and apartments. Just like in a city life, players could dine and shop. They could also visit other neighborhood to interact and explore different cultures.
Sony DADC has given Electronic Arts 30 days to comment or to decide whether "The Sims 4" City Life will be published or not. If and when the game publisher failed to comply, the distributor has the right to get the expansion pack published even without their permission.
It can be noted that in August 2015, there was a survey for expansion pack ideas and the "Metropolis" was one of them. It is possible the Electronic Arts have heard the clamor and finally set up "The Sims 4" City Life. Stay tuned at GameNGuide for more updates!
