This holiday, "Star Wars" fans will get another dose of an epic adventure with the Gareth Edwards-directed "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," which will follow Felicity Jones' Jyn Erso as she attempts to take on the Empire alongside the Rebel Alliance. The film recently released an exciting new trailer, and fans should expect more intergalactic adventures once the film arrives. In the meantime, though, fans can look forward to owning collectible 3D glasses with the upcoming film's theme.

According to Comic Book, news of the "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story"-themed collectible 3D glasses came from a leak from an email newsletter to theaters about the upcoming film. The 3D glasses that are to arrive when the film is released in December are modeled after two of the most recognized characters in the "Star Wars" world: Stormtroopers and Death Troopers.
The collectible 3D glasses will come in black and white and is manufactured by Look 3D and distributed by Master Image. Look 3D isn't a stranger to the world of Disney and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," as the company was also responsible for creating collectible glasses for Lucasfilm's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" last holiday season.
Last December's slew of collectible glasses featured the likes of Kylo Ren, the first Order Stormtroopers, and the fan favorite, BB-8. These glasses served as giveaways during midnight screenings of the film and were at times sold to fans. The "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story"-themed collectible 3D glasses are set to retail for about $9 to $12.
Screenrant reports that these collectible 3D glasses are Real D certified and will work in 3D theaters, and passive 3D TVs, monitors, and laptops. Although "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will come out in theaters this December and may not come out in 3D Blu-ray for another year, it's a nice token to have, especially for hardcore fans. "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" arrives on December 16.
