A lot can happen in 60 seconds, what more in 24 hours? The producers of the hit TV show "24" has proven to the world that so much drama and action could happen in a span of 24 hours. The writers of the show so flawlessly unfolded several episodes and seasons in a certain time frame. Several years after the last episode of "24" aired, Fox is now coming with a spinoff entitled "24: Legacy."
"24: Legacy" will still trace the pattern of its predecessor, coming off as an action-political drama with a dash of spying. However, the followers of the intriguing adventures of Jack Bauer will have to manage their expectations because he will reportedly be not the frontliner anymore.
An all new hero will be topbilling "24: Legacy" and the character will go by the name of Eric Carter. He will be the main protagonist in the series. He will reportedly be a tough ex-army guy with a haunting past. His past will possibly be one of the loopholes which will open doors to the twists and turns of the series.
Aside from Jack Bauer, another character that fans are hoping to see again in "24: Legacy" is Chloe. As of now, the producers are not closing their doors to putting Chloe's character in "24: Legacy." However, they are also not discounting the fact that it might be tricky to insert Chloe back in especially since there are a lot of new characters coming up. The writers of "24: Legacy" will have to find a way to link Chloe with the new set of characters.
In the recently concluded Comic-Con 2016, the executive producer of "24: Legacy" admitted that there might be some characters in "24" that will make their appearance in the upcoming spin-off. Catch the premiere of "24: Legacy" on Feb. 5 2017.
