Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Nina Dobrev is very much willing to join "The Originals" Season 4 if Ian Somerhalder will not be casted in the upcoming installment. The entertainment news outlet says "The Final Girls" actress has been offered to join the spinoff series together with her former boyfriend.
Sources have claimed that Julie Plec has already planned to bring back Katherine Pierce, Elena Gilbert's doppelganger, and Damon Salvatore back together in both "The Originals" Season 4 and "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Though fans have been longing to see the former lovers back on screen together again, it seems like the "XXX: Return of Xander Cage" actress does not want any reunion to take place.
According to reports, Nina Dobrev is not yet ready to reunite with Ian Somerhalder in "The Originals" Season 4 since she knows that her former flame's marriage with his wife, Nikki Reed is currently on the rocks. The "Lets' Be Cops" star does not want to be involved with the couple in any way.

Being the new generation vampires, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley's characters are very significant in "The Originals" Season 4 since it can open up new secrets and stories that were not told before.
