"The 100" season 4 executive producer Jason Rothenberg confirmed that the nuclear apocalypse will take place. According to ALIE (Erica Cerra), the world will see its end within six months per Inquisitr. The artificial intelligence told Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) that 96 percent of the Earth will not be habitable.
While some fans are hoping that the nuclear apocalypse will not take place, the disaster cannot be stopped in "The 100" season 4. Reports say that some characters will prepare for the coming apocalypse while some will enjoy as much as they can.

Post-Apocalypse
"The 100" season 4 spoilers hint that Murphy (Richard Harmon) will not undergo any major event at the start of the season. Meanwhile, Christopher Larkin wants to see his character Monty getting involved with Harper deeper. He hopes that the one-night stand will mean more for both characters.
Marie Avgeropolous hinted that her character Octavia may undergo a major change. In an interview with TVLine, she said that Octavia will be an assassin in "The 100" season 4.
Meanwhile, Eliza Taylor couldn't detail her character's fate in "The 100" season 4. Many fans believe that Clarke will continue to play mediator in "The 100" season 4. Clarke is also rumored to face leadership issues, especially in the face of deciding who gets saved or not.
