‘The Sims 4’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: Will It Be Called ‘City Life’ Or 'Metropolis' Expansion Pack This Fall?

“The Sims 4” is due for an update and if reports are accurate, the much talked about “City Life” expansion pack will be out by the Fall of this year. As mentioned in a previous post, “The Sims 4: City Life” expansion pack is believed to be coming soon thanks to some leaks courtesy of a site in Brazil. In that post, it was mentioned as “Vida na Cidade” which stands for “City Life”.

This means that “The Sims 4” gamers can look forward to a lot of new stuff with the upcoming DLC, including cool city stuff that may include seeing new features like amply designed penthouses or even the use of food carts. But as mentioned in a previous post, EA and Maxxis have not come out in the open to confirm the DLC and the features many are expecting (or hoping) to see.

The new expansion pack to be known as “Metropolis”?

Last year, EA conducted a survey on the possible expansion and its title for the gaming community. Coming out on top was “Metropolis” from the list of choices.

Per a report, “The Sims 4: Metropolis” is a city-themed expansion that would give Sims an opportunity to live in the modern city that included food carts and street markets. So instead of “Metropolis”, would “City Life” be more appropriate?

Tying up the Brazilian website’s dish plus that previous survey, it certainly seems to be a good fit for the anticipated expansion pack. However, its potential release date is still up in the air.

Last July, “The Sims 4: Backyard Stuff” DLC came out. Given the time frame and sensible time to release a new expansion pack, the Fall looms as the best time to follow up on that, perfect for folks who will have all the time in the world since it is near the Holidays.
