'Westworld' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Meet Dolores, Dr. Robert Ford, Bernard Love Of HBO's Upcoming Futuristic Series

HBO recently dropped the second teaser of its upcoming science fiction thriller, "Westworld." The longer trailer revealed a futuristic TV series that promises an amazing storyline between the lives of Dolores and Dr. Robert Ford at the park. 

Dolores

The second clip revolved around the character of Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), her involvement in "Westworld" and the real world. Dolores is the young, naïve and the oldest resident of "Westworld," Entertainment Weekly cited. She has been programmed by Dr. Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins) to come back to life after encountering a number of deaths. However, her entire memory has been deleted.

It looks like things for the command center for the park is getting real dangerous under the hands of its creative director Dr. Robert Ford, as per iO9. "Our creatures have been misbehaving," the 78-year-old actor's character said. To recall, the first trailer of "Westworld" revealed the theme of the show.

An old west theme park has been inhabited by some lifelike android that should be obeying what its human visitor's desire. But it seems that "Westworld" is waiting for the worst as these robots are misbehaving badly.

"You and everyone you know were built to gratify the desires of people who pay to visit your world," Bernard Love (Jeffrey Wright) disclosed. The character of the 50-year-old star is the lead programmer of "Westworld" and is very much aware of the issues of his surroundings. Although he has no plans to do something about it, and instead he plans to simply obey Dr. Robert Ford's commands.

"Westworld" is based on Michael Crichton's 1973 film with the same title. It is an upgraded science-fiction Western by the executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. It tells the story of the theme park that will show the use and the danger of artificial intelligence. "Westworld" air date is slated for Oct. 2 on HBO.
