‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News, Tips & Update: Philippine Company Offering Unusual Career Path With ‘Lure Manager’ Job Opening

Just recently, Game & Guide did a report on that uncanny employment secured by a Singaporean named Ivy Lim. This was tied up to that “Pokemon Master” job which would pay her $1,000 a month to teach others on the playing “Pokemon Go”. Most of that can be read here.

Are you ready to be a ‘Lure Manager’?

The thing about Lim’s job is that it was good for three months. But being paid for approximately $3,000 and getting the chance to beef up your PokeDex seems too good to be true. Could other regions follow?

Apparently, there is and over in the Philippines, “Pokemon Go” players get the chance to earn on the side as part-time ‘Lure Managers’. The job offer comes from Voyager Innovations Inc., a digital arm of Smart Communications which is one of the country’s leading mobile service providers.

Only in the Philippines!

Unlike Lim’s job, this will only be a one-month deal. James Tancioco, the HR lead for the company, was asked on the specific “Pokemon Go” job details and responsibilities. He did not elaborate and only bared that the part-time job is part of a project for a ‘certain’ client.

Per the post, qualified applicants must be at least 20-years-old, have at least reached second year in college, at level 10 to 15 on Pokemon Go and someone who plays the game on Android, GMA News reported. Looking over his Facebook account, the whole thing could be tied up to the “Pokemon Go” ‘Lure Caravan’ via Freenet.ph which kicked off Aug. 29. It is possible that the company has tied up with another client to take advantage of the "Pokemon Go" craze.

It will be interesting how much the part-timers will earn from this one though it would not be surprising if Voyager ends up offering freebies or Internet access in the package. Regardless, this should be clarified soon. Below is the post for that “Pokemon Go” ‘Lure Manager’ position.
