Harry Shum Jr. once said his character as Magnus Bane in "Shadowhunters" Season 2 might be seen a little different. Now, the 34-year-old star revealed that he may already found his soulmate with Alec Lightwood (Matthew Daddario) in the next installment of the fantasy TV series.

Magnus Bane revealed that "Shadowhunters" Season 2 will be the best time for the team up of Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood. In fact, he even asserted that the two characters are "soulmates." The dancer explained that in Cassandra Clare's "The Mortal Instruments" novel, which the TV series is based, he is his confidant, as per Enstarz.
Although Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood's characters are a total opposite of each other, their bond is definitely a hit in "Shadowhunters" Season 2. "That has a lot to do with it because there's so much that can be learned from both sides," Harry Shum Jr. disclosed. "Even this guy that's been around for so long, there's a lot that he can learn from Alec and vice versa."

In fact, fans might see the High Warlock a little different in the new installment. It has been said that his character might be altered from his original role in "The Mortal Instruments."
The show's executive producer Michael Reisz even admitted to Paste that "Shadowhunters" Season 2's storyline will be mysterious. They are going to reveal each of the character's life in a way that will definitely surprise the fans. Also, the lead stars will have their "own season worth of stories."
