Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Sells 11 Million Units (Scorestreaks Explained)

Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has reportedly sold 11 million units.

"The game sold 11.22 million units across the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC...The Xbox 360 version was the top selling version with sales of 6.21 million units. This is a 55 percent market share of the total sales. The PlayStation 3 version sold 4.61 million units, or 41 percent of the total sales. The PC version sold 400,859 units in its opening week," VGChartz reported.

The game reportedly made $500 million for Activision.

Meanwhile, IGN Wiki's Call of Duty Black Ops 2 guide gives details about Scorestreaks which are a new kind of Kill Streaks in the game.

Level 7 onwards, players can unlock the customizing Scorestreaks. Once it is unlocked, players need to use an unlock token for Scorestreak reward.

Apart from the kill counts there are other ways players can add to score streak:

* Get a Kill.

* Get a Kill with a Scorestreak (Reduced Points).

* Get an Assist.

* Get an Assist with a Scorestreak UAV/Counter-UAV (Reduced Points).

* Defend your teammates with an Assault Shield.

* Capture a flag in Capture the Flag or Domination.

* Plant a bomb in Search & Destroy or Demolition.

* Defuse a bomb in Search & Destroy or Demolition.

* Capture an HQ in Headquarters.

* Destroy an HQ in Headquarters.

* Capture an enemy or friendly dog tag in Kill Confirmed.

* Capture the Hardpoint in Hardpoint

* Defend the Hardpoint in Hardpoint (Get a kill while inside the Hardpoint).

* Destroy enemy Scorestreak Rewards.

The point streak will reset once all the three Scorestreaks have been earned. Once the player dies, the streak resets.
