‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Update: Buddy Pokemon Now Confirmed By Niantic, Generation 2 Next To Be Announced For September 5 Update?

Niantic has been following a trend of releasing an application update for "Pokemon GO" every two weeks. If Niantic will stick to that routine, the next update will be scheduled on the 5th of this month. As reports from different websites and hints from "Pokemon GO" creators Niantic Labs, the predicted "Pokemon GO" update looks to be just in time.

Buddy Pokemon Confirmed for 'Pokemon GO'

Niantic just confirmed Buddy Pokemon through "Pokemon GO's" official Facebook page. The post stated "Trainers, the upcoming version of "Pokemon GO" introduces a new Buddy Pokémon experience. As reported by The Verge, Buddy Pokemons will appear beside the "Pokemon GO" trainers character in the trainer's profile. It will also grant the "Pokemon GO" trainer extra in game reward with candies.

With Buddy Pokemon for "Pokemon GO" being correctly predicted by several websites in the past week, does "Pokemon GO" generation2 be next in line?
