‘Pokemon Go’ Latest Cheats, Tips & Tricks: How To Rack Up Candies And Stardust Count

Playing “Pokemon Go” requires a lot of logistics and one of them includes powering up your characters for the battles ahead. Doing that is easier said than done though two things on a player’s item inventory that need to be stacked up are the Pokemon Candy and Stardust.

Similar to Pokeballs, players need to wisen up before using them. They are no different from the way that Pokeballs are collected – hard. But before going that far, it would be best to figure out how to collect them first and worry about consumption later.

Pokemon Candies

Racking up Pokemon Candy comes as a perk when players go after those elusive pocket monsters. Each time a critter is caught, a corresponding candy equivalent is included.

Alternatively, Pokemon Candy can also be taken in from hatching eggs. Worth noting though is that the type of candy one can get varies. Hence, a recurring monster that appears in places does have use as it helps in the power-ups and evolution.

The key towards raking in the candies? Walk and/or hatch. Each time you get a monster in your Pokedex, your Pokemon Candy count tied up to that critter you caught or hatch also adds up.

Stardust

Conversely, collecting Stardust is not as easy as getting Pokemon Candy on Pokemon Go. They can be collected from egg hatching or by aligning with Pokemon Gyms.

As with catching pocket monsters, hatching eggs will require players to do a lot of walking. Apparently, that is the intent of the game as a whole so folks will need to get a move on.

The other part tied up to gyms is a bit tricky. Everyone knows that leveling up to high XP levels is pretty tough to do but that is the only way to evolve them and be successful in “Pokemon Go” before placing them in gyms.

Hence, the secret of racking up these items may be at your feet. Keep walking just as Niantic programmed the game to be.
