"The Young and the Restless" spoilers for Sept. 9 brings in more drama to the Genoa City as they are still trying to come to terms on the reality that Adam is gone. More confrontations are expected to arise as suspicions grow among family members and close associates.
Adam lies in state and everyone has gathered at the wake. Victor Newman stood at the front to give his speech as he tries to overcome the guilt he felt for the death of his son. To somehow make it up to Adam, he took the blame and admitted that his actions may have led to his son's untimely death.
As shown in "The Young and the Restless" preview for Sept. 9 episode, Victor began his speech by saying, "We all want to know who's to blame." He was momentarily interrupted by his wife Nikki who said, "Victor, don't do this." Apparently, she was trying to stop his husband from revealing something grim.
In the end, the Newman patriarch confessed that he framed Adam for murder, testified against him so he ended up in jail. He said that he also allowed Adam to escape from prison and this eventually led to his hiding in the cabin where the blast took place.
Elsewhere on "The Young and the Restless" spoilers, Jack's wife Phyllis does not want to attend Adam's memorial because she felt no sympathy to Victor. She was also seen getting too intimate with her brother in law Billy as they spent time alone at the Abbott cabin.
Despite the fact that Paul expressed his desire to close Adam's case, Dylan will still continue with the investigation to find answers and solve the mystery of his death. Along the way, he will try to pin down Victor for framing and facilitating Adam's escape.
Meanwhile, "The Young and the Restless" seems to be developing a new intense story as Summer finally confronts Luca in jail. Although Summer already knows that everything is just a lie and Luca just used her for his own gain, she still think that his ex-fiance has already changed. But, will she trust him again after all the deceptions?
"The Young and the Restless" airs from Monday to Friday on CBS channel.
