Considered as the "most popular TV show in the world right now" according to Digital Spy, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 most valuable player is Jim Parsons who played the role of Sheldon Cooper. His salary has been tripled from $350,000 to $1 million per episode according to Deadline news.
Joining Parsons in the $1 million-mark are co-stars Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco, playing the role of Leonard Hofstadter and Penny in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10, respectively. Aside from the fixed paycheck an episode, the three stars also get signing bonuses, increased ownership on the show and production deals.
Close to the $1 million range salary are Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg who gets $750,000 per episode. They play Raj Koothrappali and Howard Wolowitz, respectively in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10. According to reports, both parties negotiated for parity compensation with the show's top 3 stars. During the negotiation meeting, there has been rumbling that CBS was considering the possibility of continuing the series even without Nayyar and Helberg. But sources say that the suggestion was merely a negotiating tactic to put an end to the discussion.
The bigger disparity comes in the paycheck of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 star Melissa Rauch, playing Bernadette Rostenkowski, and Mayim Bialik as Amy Farrah Fowler, who are only wedging $100,000 per episode in "The Big Bang Theory." This number is merely a 10 per cent of what the 3 stars are earning!
