The star families of the "Modern Family" Season 8, the Pritchett, Dunphy, and the Tucker family will be together for the first time after their separate vacations in New York, Mexico, and the Midwest.
All happy vacations have their ending too, prompting the three families back to their normal lives. There's a new challenge brewing for the "Modern Family" Season 8. Gloria Pritchetts' hot sauce business is gaining popularity. Also, Phil, wants nothing more than to be doing his unpopular diversions, and Claire will be up for a challenge on Jay's back to work dilemma, E! News reports.
It seems that the "Modern Family" Season 8 is back to portray more of life's challenges and victories. Luke and Manny Dunphy enter an exciting senior year together. Alex and Haley will have different goals, in which Alex will be dealing with student duties at Caltech, while Haley starts to be an entrepreneur for the first time.
New characters will join to spice up the storyline of "Modern Family" Season 8 . Special guests, Martin Short, and Nathan Fillion will be part of the Halloween and New Year's Eve episodes. Martin Short will be given one episode, in which he will be working with Phil.

As cited by Christian Today, Short will have the character of a guy who works with Phil to do promotional items. For the fans and followers, there are so many things to look forward too when the series returns on the small screens.
