Many fans of the most anticipated "Avatar 2" movie are very excited on its release. But, is there really a movie sequel coming? Are the people of the planet Pandora ever coming back to the big screen? What will happen to Jake Sully and Neytiri? These are most of the questions asked by the fans.

Luckily, the "Avatar 2" movie is now confirmed to be in the works. According to a report from Behind Woods, one of the Hollywood's elite directors James Cameron said that there will be a sequel for the "Avatar" movie franchise. The "Avatar 2" will more likely be a family saga that will focus on the struggles of humans. But, the storyline will just follow Jake Sully, Neytiri and their children. James Cameron also said that the "Avatar 2" will be completed in 2018 and it will be ready for Christmas release.

The "Avatar 2" is said to start its production next year. There are also reports that say both Colonel Miles and Doctor Grace Augustine will be returning to the movie even though the two died in the first movie. The two characters might come back to life through some extraterrestrial plot of the story and Colonel Miles, who is known as an enemy in the first movie, might be an ally this time.

According to a report from Christian Times, Director James Cameron will be releasing a total of four "Avatar" sequels. Cameron said that they are aiming for the "Avatar 5" to be released in 2023, the "Avatar 4" in 2022 and the "Avatar 3" in 2020. Cameron wants the release dates to be a close as possible. The movies are expected to be launched every Christmas.
