‘Clash Of Clans’ 2016 News & Update: Can Supercell’s Game Outrank ‘Pokemon Go,’ With Features Coming In Sept 18? Check What’s In Store!

"Clash of Clans" was launched in 2012 and has been popular as a freemium video game. On Sept 18, Supercell, the game's developer, is set to launch a patch that offers interesting features. Some fans are wondering if this latest development could actually outrank the popular "Pokemon Go."

"Clash of Clans" upcoming update will not be complicated and will even be simplified for beginners. For the hard core clashers, the new game mode will be more challenging. The new patch will include Friendly Challenge, Money Player and Single Player.

Mobipicker reported that there is also a new feature for "Clash of Clans" September update called the Clan Challenge. Also known as Arranged Wars, players can challenge other clans to go to war. When the other clan accepts the challenge, there will be a preparation time, or days maybe, that will be set by the challenger. He could also choose his participants and even mark the number of days for battle.

Competition will still be tough among players of "Clash of Clans." But in the latest update, clashers will be rewarded with gems for every task that they can accomplish. These free gems can be mined helping gamers to level up fast.

Previous updates of "Clash of Clans" were focused on Town Hall 11, and that means the more advanced players. The patch coming out on Sept 18 will include Town Halls One to Ten for players in the early stage.

According to reports, Supercell is considering this September update to be a major release. Hopefully, it can outrank Niantic's "Pokemon Go" which has taken the world in just a matter of weeks. However, we have already seen a decline in the number of players. Forbes has reported that among paying players, 79 percent has already stopped playing the go-game. "Clash of Clans" would be happy to see these figures playing their game instead.
