'The Blacklist' Season 4 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: 2 Episodes’ Synopses Revealed! Red Will Find Liz? Will They Finally Reunite?

As the return of "The Blacklist" Season 4 is now fast approaching, the official synopses of the show's episodes one and two are now revealed. Red (James Spader) will do everything to find Liz (Megan Boone) and it looks the two will finally be reunited.

'The Blacklist' Season 4 Episode 1 And 2's Synopses

As per "The Blacklist" Season 4 Episode 1 "Esteban" synopsis, Red will launch an operation to find Liz, who has been kidnapped by Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen). The role of the 52-year-old Danish actor asserted that he is the father of Liz that everybody doubts. Hence, Red will try to find Liz at any cost, but the Task Force was surprised to learn that she is still alive. To recall, she faked her death to escape to Cuba with Tom (Ryan Eggold) and their kid Agnes, according to International Business Times.

In "The Blacklist" Season 4 Episode 2 "Mato," Red will work with Tom to find where Kirk hides Liz. The Task Force, too, will help the two to search for a bounty hunter who knows Kirk and their whereabouts. Liz, on the other hand, is confused if she's going to believe that Kirk is her father and if she could give him her trust. As the search for Liz is ongoing, fans will witness an imminent reunion of Liz and Red.

The Real Connection Of Red To Liz

Meanwhile, Yibada reported that "The Blacklist" Season 4 might reveal the real connection of Red to Liz with the help of Kirk. "We are really delving into Liz's past and exposing things withheld throughout the series. So I cannot say confidently," Megan Boone told Entertainment Weekly. The new season may also feature what really happened on the night Liz and her father got separated because of the fire. "The Blacklist" Season 4 will return on Sept. 22 on NBC at 10 p.m.
