‘Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection’ Release Date, News & Update: Enhanced Ezio Trilogy Launches For PS4, Xbox One This November

The "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" release date is now set. Finally, gamers will get their hands on the complete three-game series showcasing the adventures of Ezio Auditore de Firenze.

Earlier this year, rumors surfaced that Ubisoft was planning an "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" release. It looks like those rumors are true after all, Ubisoft is indeed releasing a collection showcasing the best three games in the Assassin's Creed stable, all in one package with tons of freebies to boot.

The upcoming "Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection" package will contain all three games of the Ezio series. Included in the collection are "Assassin's Creed 2," "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" and "Assassin's Creed: Revelations." The best part is that the three games are all enhanced to take advantage of the superior graphics capability of latest generation consoles such as Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PlayStation 4.

'Assassin's Creed 2' Enhanced For PS4 and Xbox One

"Assassin's Creed 2" is the first game of the "Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection" and marks the introduction of Ezio into the franchise. Launched back in 2009, it was a result of Ubisoft's decision to retire the character Altair Ibn-La'Ahad in lieu of the more cocky Ezio Auditore de Firenze, a decision that proved to be the right move launching the series to stellar success.

Better Graphics for 'Assassin' Creed: Brotherhood'

The second game of the "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" continues the adventure of the hero Ezio. This time, he must deal with the threat posed by Cesare Borgia, continuing the struggle between the Templars and the Guild of Assassins. The original game was launched back in 2010 but gamers who will avail of the Ezio Collection will experience better gameplay as its graphics has been enhanced to reflect the capabilities of current gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One.

'Assassin's Creed: Revelations'

The third and final game, "Assassin's Creed: Revelations" rounds up the Ezio Collection. The game presents the finale of the Ezio storyline. As the title suggests, the game's storyline follows Ezio as he tries to unravel the mysterious origins of the Assassins but instead unlocks the memories of his predecessor Altair. Launched in 2011, this is a must have for Assassins collectors and gamers as it puts into perspective the contribution of Ezio and Altair to the present day affairs of the secretive guild.

Four Films Included In the 'Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection'

On top of the three games, the Ezio Collection also contain four films that brings to life Ezio's past as well as explains the story even further. These include the Assassin's Creed Embers and the Assassin's Creed Lineage three-part miniseries.

Fans will soon get their hands on the complete Ezio Trilogy. Ubisoft already scheduled that "Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection" release date this coming November 15, 2016 and will be available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
