The favorite doctors on tv are returning on screen for another exciting season this year. The "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will air in a couple days, giving the fans a brand new drama-filled episodes. This season, the story will revolve around the original characters, including Meredith and Alex, played by Ellen Pompeo and Justin Chamber.

Parent Herald reports of a possible Meridith-Alex relationship, considering that the two original characters from the first season have developed their friendship in a deeper level. Many viewers are waiting for their relationship to unfold in the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13.

However, in the same report, the relationship of Meridith and Alex is purely a brother-sister relationship. The "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will preserve the friendship of Alex and Meredith as co-doctors for 13 years. Moreover, teasers have implied that Meredith will make necessary steps to help Alex in eluding the prison bars, but that remains unknown.

Alex and Meredith will go through hard times together, and their friendship will be tested as Meredith will try to save Alex from being jailed. We can recall from the last season that Alex almost killed DeLuca in brutal punches.On the other other hand, Alex and Jo will have problems with their relationship because of Jo's traumatic past when "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 returns, Gamenguide reports. 

The "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 will also bring a new love for Meredith in Nathan. Fans may want to take sides as to who would be a better partner for Meredith, Nathan or Alex. In a couple days, fans will finally see how the stories of the famous doctors will unfold.
