In the midst of filming the movie "Fast 7," a tragic car accident happened to one of its main character, Paul Walker, when he was on his way home from a charity work in 2013. And, now that "Fast 8" is on the run, fans might see Paul Walker again in the upcoming movie.
The casts and crew of the franchise seem to be interested in bringing back Paul Walker's character in "Fast 8," Brian O'Conner, and Walker's family are already approving their plan. In fact, Paul Walker's two brothers, Caleb and Cody, have confirmed it to an interview together. Both of them had took parts in helping finish the movie "Furious 7," which is the last movie of Paul Walker.
In an interview by Entertainment Tonight, Caleb and Cody had revealed the possibility of Brian O'Conner to return on the film "Fast 8." They also said that helping the film "Fast 7" in Paul Walker's place had really helped them grieve during those times and more importantly know their brother even more. Vin Diesel also reached for them asking their blessing in bringing back Paul Walker's character in their future instalment.
They also pointed out that the Universal Studios and Vin Diesel wanted to make sure to be very much respectful about Paul Walker's image. They also shared that Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow, is doing better these days and added that they are very protective of her as she was very important to their late brother, Paul Walker. So, it is now safe to say that Paul Walker's character is going to be back in "Fast 8" movie.
According to Movie Web, these "Fast & Furious" franchise have very much successful especially the "Furious 7," which grossed $1.5 billion last year. As a matter of fact, the studio is already planning on its ninth and tenth installment even if the "Fast 8" movie is not yet launched until next year.
The upcoming movie "Fast 8" will hit theatres on April 14, 2017 and its first full-length trailer for the film is expected to debut in December 2016. Make sure to stay tuned for more "Fast 8" news and updates.
