‘Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location’ Release Date, News: Scott Cawthon Reveals October Release; No 2nd Trailer, New Map Serves as Teaser

"Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" is finally going live this Oct. 7 and this was confirmed by Scott Cawthon himself. This means, the long wait is over for fans of the game!

On Scott Games website, the date format of 10 - 7 - 16 was emblazoned on the home page and everyone can see that this is referring to the launching day of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location." Although no other details were posted, players already know a great deal about the upcoming game.

For instance, they are aware that unlike in the previous sequels of "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location," their task now is to play as a night shift technicians instead of the usual security guards on duty. Players will have survive the night while fighting animatronics that comes to life in order to eradicate the technicians.

Most probably, one of the major details that was leaked to the fans is about the new map where the fights with animatronics will take place. As can be seen in the illustration, the layout is shaped like a cross and there are three main areas which have been labeled as Circus Gallery, Funtime Auditorium and Ballora Gallery. There is also an elevator, two control rooms and service rooms.

It was further uncovered that secret rooms also exist and these can mostly be found in the Funtime Auditorium. Such rooms in "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" are supposed to contain important clues relating to the game's story.

At any rate, Cawthon stated that there will never be trailer no. 2 as he has no intention of making one for release. He reasoned that any additional trailer will only reveal too much about "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" and in the end, players will not find it fun and exciting to play anymore.

"I just wanted to make a short announcement that despite my earlier plans to do so, I will not be creating a second trailer for 'Sister Location,'" he wrote on Steam Community. "I feel that if I show any more of the game than I already have, then it will spoil a lot of the surprises in the game."
