This guy who used to be the show's writer and co-executive producer way back in 2005 to 2007. He will take the rein of the show after the exit of the executive producer Warren Leight in the last season as reported by Variety.

"Law and Order: SVU" Season 18 will definitely bring about new faces according to Eid. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, a new member will join SVU to complete the team and to bring back the show's power-packed storyline. But the new boss promised that while new faces will be in, the old faces will stay, including Mariska Hargitay.
