'Grimm' Season 7 News & Update: Supporters Filed For Petition, Fans Are Hopeful; NBC Remains Deaf?

For six seasons, the "Grimm" TV series has gained popularity for many viewers on screen. The casts of the series, especially Nick Burkhardt, are lucky enough to have such avid fans who willing to use their influence just to see more of the series, especially, in "Grimm" Season 7.

A lot of reports have surfaced online that "Grimm" Season 7 will not continue, as producers have decided not to support the show for another season, Gamenguide reports. It was also percieved that despite the petitions being made, NBC has been quite about it. Claims have also surfaced that NBC remains deaf over the matter.

It is a losing battle for the fans now that "Grimm" Season 6 will not show the original number of episodes since they were reduced to half. Similarly, "Grimm" Season 7 will not deliver the expected number of 20 episodes, instead, only 13 episodes will be staged to the viewers.

Although the fans were able to sway the producers to create Grimm Season 6 by submitting their online petition, it will not be likely so with Grimm season 7. This time, the producers are not convinced with the less than 10,000 fans who signed up the petition.

With a solid hope, fans pointed their petition for Grimm Season 7's renewal to NBC. A lot opinions came out that the TV series is due for ten more seasons, Movie News Guide reports.

Aside from appealing to NBC, fans also made a move to direct their petition to TNT Network, hoping that the TNT would consider the opportunity of continuing "Grimm" for season 7. In the same report by Movie News Guide, TNT is silent on the possibility of adopting the show.

In the meantime, fans will be waiting for the upcoming "Grimm" Season 6 to be aired on January 6, 2017. As for the "Grimm" Season 7, that fate remains unknown.
