Industry experts expect Sony and Microsoft to go at it in the gaming console market next year. While Sony is already set to release its own system called PlayStation 4 Pro, Microsoft is expected to launch its new console next year dubbed as Xbox Project Scorpio. Both the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Project Scorpio are believed to be the best consoles once these devices hit the shelves.

The upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro is already considered as the best in the market with its impressive specs and features. However, the crown as the best in the world today might change as soon as Microsoft releases the official details of its new system. While game developers are expected to launch several popular titles for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Project Scorpio, both Microsoft and Sony have already started the war of words as to who has the best console. .

There's no question that both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Project Scorpio are powerful consoles. However, during his interview with Eurogamer, Microsoft director and planning for Xbox, Albert Penello, said that the new PlayStation 4 Pro is not the best console out there. He does not believe that the new Sony system could support 4K resolutions or 3840 x 2160 pixels with its 4.2 teraflops GPU. He also suggests that the upcoming Xbox Project Scorpio will be more capable with its six teraflops graphics technology.

"They're going to be able to decide to take that six teraflops of power and do what they think is best for their game, Panello explained during the interview. "But I know that 4.2 teraflops is not enough to do true 4K. So, I feel like our product aspired a little bit higher, and we will have fewer asterisks around the 4K experiences we deliver on our box."

As of today, both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Project Scorpio have yet to be experienced by fans. It will be interesting once both consoles are available in the market. Stay tuned for more information about PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Project Scorpio.
