'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 476 - Is Sasuke Evil To The Core?

In his decision to kill all the five Kages trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi, eliminate all the tailed beasts and ultimately kill only friend Naruto, Sasuke might appear to be the embodiment of pure evil. On the contrary, nothing could be further from the truth. "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476 will eventually show that the reason Sasuke plans to do these deplorable things is his love for peace.

Like his brother Itachi before him, Sasuke is bent on protecting Konoha, even if he does it from the shadows. Itachi was treated like a criminal and a traitor yet he never waiver in his loyalty to the village. Just like his brother before him, Sasuke is bound follow his footsteps in the coming "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476 and do his own way of ensuring peace even if it is viewed negatively by his peers.

For Sasuke, there can be no peace as long as the current power structure exists. As representatives and heads of the power structure, the five Kages then need to be eliminated, a task that Sasuke intends to complete in the coming "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476.

The elimination of all tailed beasts including their current Jinchuuriki Naruto also falls in the same category as far as Sasuke is concerned. The tailed beasts were always viewed as the ultimate weapon of war by all nations which explains why they are highly sought after. Therefore, Sasuke endeavors to eliminate the reason for nations to covet the tailed beasts and their potential misuse, by killing them all along with Naruto in the coming "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476.

Sasuke Cares About Sakura?

Sasuke may not act like it but Sasuke has a soft spot for Sakura. In the previous episode, Sasuke attacked Sakura with a genjutsu which effectively immobilized her. When confronted by Naruto, Sasuke explained that he did not do it out of spite; he did it because Sakura could just get in the way when their fight eventually goes full blast in "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476.

This shows that Sasuke, despite not being showy it, do care about Sakura at some level. The fact that he does not want her to get hurt in their upcoming fight in "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476, speaks volumes, if one knows how to read between the lines.

But for now, Sasuke's current preoccupation is to battle it out with Naruto in the coming "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476 in order to establish his own brand of peace. Will the series end without Sasuke admitting his feelings to Sakura at all?

Can Naruto Convince Sasuke Of A Different Way Of Attaining Peace?

Sasuke is what he is because of his past experiences. In fact, it commendable that he did not turn out to be a full-blown villain like the rest of the Akatsuki. That alone could mean that there is still hope, Sasuke just might be dissuaded from carrying out his plans in the coming "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476.

And the burden of convincing Sasuke that a better path exists falls on his friend and comrade, Naruto. But is peace still possible without the death of either rivals in the coming "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 476?
