WWE 2K17 Release Date, Latest News & Update: Taunts, Finishers Revealed

WWE 2K17 is nearing its debut date and a lot of the updates in recent weeks covers the characters appearing for the simulation game as well as tips on how to become a WWE superstar.

Much of that was covered in a previous post which starred one of the WWE’s famed managers, Paul Heyman. The man managing Brock Lesnar appeared in a video which technically gave players a choice on whether to embark on their WWE 2K17 career via face or heel. In the end, however, the ultimate battle is dealing with the “Beast Incarnate”.

What finish best suits you?

Picking up from that angle, WWE 2K17 will provide players with different finishing maneuvers. These will be their signature move which is expected to be the difference between winning and losing.

There are roughly 100 finishers to check out on WWE 2K17, with players given the privilege of selecting the proper move that best suits their created superstar wrestler.

Hence, finishing moves from stars like Roman Reigns, Bayley and Seth Rollins are likely among the mix. With that in mind, players may have a rough time deciding on which finisher to get for their created WWE 2K17 star.

More Taunts coming

What is a WWE wrestler without the usual taunts? Many have perhaps seen them in live WWE events and WWE 2K17 is of course not leaving that one out. Compared to previous installments, the batch of taunts for the upcoming game will be something to look forward to.

There will be two categories for taunts this year. One will be directed toward the opponent and the other to the crowd. Both will help in giving a WWE 2K17 character some added boost in areas like attacks or momentum.

These and more await WWE 2K17 players, all of which will be out by Oct. 11. WWE 2K17 will release versions for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
