‘Jill & Jessa: Counting On’ Season 2 Spoilers, News & Update: TLC To Cancel Show Because Of Josh Duggar’s Scandals?

It appears that "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" season 2 won't be spared from cancellation rumors following Josh Duggar's scandals last year. While the original series "19 Kids and Counting" was canceled right after Josh admitted his sexual addictions, its spinoff series garnered a huge following. But it appears that the sting of scandals may cancel the spinoff series as well.

The Ramification Of Josh Duggar's Scandals

"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" Season 2 is on the brink of being cancelled, according to latest reports from the Morning Ledger. Right after Josh Duggar was exposed to his many illegal sexual endeavors, including cheating in his wife, the Duggar family has been put in a bad light. One of the ramifications includes the cancellation of its original series "19 Kids and Counting." TLC pulled the plug on the reality series after Josh Duggar admitted to molesting his younger sisters and cheating on his wife.

It appears that Josh Duggar's actions are still bringing the family an avalanche of misfortunes even in "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" show.  More so, Josh and Anna Duggar have been bombarded with divorce rumors despite Anna's resolve to stay for Josh no matter what. However, many fans believe that Anna is better off without Josh. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are reportedly on the brink of getting a divorce as well, Movie News Guide reported.

"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" Season 2 To Be Cancelled?

To recall, "19 Kids & Counting" was cancelled by TLC last year after Josh Duggar's scandal broke out. The network then launched a campaign against the very things Josh did. Josh's adultery and assault pulled the plug on the show. It appears that the same thing will happen to "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" season 2.

The Duggar family is known to be a devout and religious family, however, these beliefs were put to question after Josh was found to be a sexual molester. Many fans are still calling for TLC to stop the show and its hypocrisy. This may explain the 30 percent drop in ratings, which isn't looking too good for its advertisers. It wouldn't be surprising if advertisers don't want to be associated with the family anymore.
